A memorable and consistent social media feed tells a story. It tells people who you are, what’s special about your work and invites them to be a part of your brand. It attracts followers and gets interaction. But figuring out how to capture and style your work in a compelling, authentic way without being a professional photographer can be a challenge. In this four hour lab, creative director and artist Annie Kubena will teach us how to use smartphone photography to effectively tell our brand stories. We’ll cover how to find the best lighting, basic styling and composition, essential apps and how to use them, basic editing as well as tips on making your feeds memorable. This event is hands-on, so you’ll get a chance to style your own product in the lab and get feedback and advice from the instructor.
Food purveyors, makers, designers, small business owners, bloggers or anyone looking to improve their presence on social media will glean a lot of practical and meaningful how-to advice to take their visual brand to the next level.
Cost is $100 ($75 for members). Space is limited to 10 guests. Registration runs until April 17 at noon or sooner if it sells out.
