The day after the Packers won the Superbowl, we had a very big snow fall (18″ or so), which shut down the city. In commemoration of the win the dome of the Capitol was lit up in green and yellow (presumably for the packers, although those are the colors for both Australia and brazil). After taking photos of the Capitol (available here), I turned around and took this hdr image of a deserted State Street. A lot of people wonder when it was taken (they all think it is older than it really is), and it also reminds people of the film ‘it’s a wonderful life’.
